Lightning

Fri Dec 13, 2013 7:21 pm by queengoogoo

In the evening when the day is done
And no more is the light from the sun,
I look upon the stars Heaven high
And find gratefulness deep inside.
But then there are nights a storm rolls in,
And the twinkles disappear above the lightning.
The thunder accompanying the flash,
Lets me embrace the rain's splash.

Suggestions, Opinions?

Thu Mar 29, 2012 3:07 pm by cuthugas

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to see if anyone has anything to say now that you've had a chance to use the forum a bit.

Is there anything you don't like? Something you would like to see changed? This site gives us a lot of flexbility to modify just about everything you see, so if you can't stand something, or have a suggestion on how something should look/work, let us know.

Okay, let's try another challenge.

Here are the rules:

1. You must post only a single sentence. It can be as long or as short as you'd like, as long as it is grammatically correct. If it isn't, we cry foul and you are disqualified.

2. You must maintain the logic of the story. So, no non-sequitors, or off the wall changes. We are writers, not Family Guy script writers (although I LOVE Family Guy). If you do we cry foul and you are disqualified.

3. You may not post a response to your own sentence. If you do we cry foul and you are disqualified.

4. Please try to maintain the "tone" of the previous entries. Let's use this as an exercise in writing technique.

5. If you have any comments or thoughts, be sure to make your entry first, then put everything else after.

Here we go...
